The August DABS meeting was over in a flash (under 30 minutes), but it came with some good news: more spots are about to pour drinks across the state. Here’s what’s coming up:
🚨 New Bar
- Neighbors Bar – Salt Lake City
Landing soon in the Milk Block near 900 South. Same crew behind The Pearl, so expect good vibes, Taiwanese-American bites, and cocktails flowing by early October.
🍽️ Full-Service Restaurants (Liquor, Beer, Wine)
- Kin Sen Thai Tapas – Holladay → Thai small plates + cocktails, opening Sept 6.
- Fogo De Chão – Midvale → Brazilian steakhouse chain.
🍷 Limited-Service (Beer & Wine Only)
- Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee and Social (West Jordan)
- Tabeyo Sushi (Spanish Fork)
- Mexi-Tacos (West Valley)
- La Vaca Steak House (location TBD)
🍺 Beer-Only
- Sinaloa Town (Lehi)
- El Gallo Giro (Provo)
👀 One More Thing…
Governor Cox just tapped Christopher Conabee to join the DABS commission. He’s a biz/tourism vet, now helping shape Utah’s liquor landscape.
👉 Translation: more spots to eat, drink, and party are on the way.
